This website has completely been made with pencils, paper and some actionscript. There was almost no use of Photoshop.

Ugliness is so 1998 . . . good site, boring art drawings are clichéd and lame. guess it took some time to create that badly-usable and slow site though. Blatant imitation of Zdzislaw Beksinski's work. the drawings are neither terribly clever or particularly insightful. the draftsmanship is mediocre at best. the content seems melancholically high-school. ...I don't care. The artist sounds like an idiot anyway. Nice in theory, but poor in practice. I can't read the font, I can barely navigate the page, and I only found the volume controls (to shut off that annoying music) by sheer luck. they did a good job on the website, but it is way too much stuff going on for what the subject matter is, the 'simple' and eerie artwork would be better off in a not so 'high-tech' setting... And the art for that matter, is not that spectacular... Wow, what a great new navagation experience! By new I mean horrible. And by "navagation experience" I mean "pain in the ass." I respect the concept and originality, but there is something quite unappealing about squinting around horrendously small text, to be rewarded with mediocre drawings of a guy on a bench, or even better..Stick Doodles. I like to imagine that making poorly designed websites is what art schools are actually teaching students, instead of how to draw. Could this have been more boring? I don't think so. Yawn!!!!! Erm...nice but pointless. This site is slow, and too creepy to be worth the wait. I hate this site. Too much stupid flash - takes forever to load, and then everything's slow motion. It's like being stuck in tar, and it's no fun at all. Person ought to consider doing something with his life. rubbishhhhhhhhhhhhh very similar to [link], same people? **such an annoying site** Seems very likely to either be a ripoff or the creator of the Johnny Hollow website. slow as shit for no good reason. I didn't "have a problem navigating the site," I just look at it from the standpoint of "Wow, I would be through all these pictures already if they weren't wrapped in this flash interface." So, that's my main complaint. This kind of thing is just visual fluff. It takes twice as long to load an image as it does to look at it... you have to wait for the image size to rescale, etc, etc, etc. This would be 'cool' if it loaded 50 times faster or so. some were definitely thought-provoking & quite original. but others were creepy & inappropriate. It looks like stuff a teenage boy would sketch in his notebooks during a particularly boring high school class. hey... if you don't like it - just go home and fuck yourself. I didn't make this for you. |

Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
